Some of the world’s best creative talent sit at the heart of ITV Studios, with more than 60 production labels across scripted and non-scripted television.
ITV Studios is offering six Development Traineeships across its award-winning unscripted labels in London, Manchester and Newcastle. This role is aimed at people looking to break into unscripted television development.
The successful Development Trainee will be placed within one or more ITV Studios labels and will work in a fast-paced non-scripted development environment, helping to shape new content for broadcasters and streamers.
What you’ll be doing:

Coming up with ideas for new television shows.

Assisting with pitch materials, including format documents and sizzles.
-
Coordinating and assembling notes from development, production and commissioners.
-
Attending brainstorms and contributing ideas.
-
Sharing editorial opinions on television formats.
-
Supporting shoots, run-throughs and day-to-day development admin.
-
Pitching ideas to potential buyers.
-
Engaging with and promoting diversity within the content developed.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria):

Proven passion for a career in non-scripted TV development.
-
Knowledge of, and curiosity about, the non-scripted TV landscape.

Strong communication, organisational skills and attention to detail.
-
Passion for creating exciting formats for a range of audiences.
