We want scripted shows that bring authentic and meaningful stories with a real sense of place and voice that resonate with global audiences

We want leading editorial jobs and world class career-defining opportunities to exist for North East writers, directors and producers.

We work with leading national and international partners to ensure the North East, the North East Production Fund, our Film Office, our skills and business development, and our wraparound support is best in class.

We work with experienced production companies and broadcasters to provide bigger and better targeted opportunities for our writers to develop stories and win contracts with commissionable companies who have direct and proven broadcast experience.

We champion our regional writers when in discussions with broadcasters, agents, and national and international production companies to open doors.

What we don’t do is directly fund writers to develop scripts or fully fund development.
